Why do you need a water filter?

How exactly does the AcquaPhi UNVERSO work?
The AcquaPhi Universo - based on Carbon Block with a pore size of 0.5 micron - cleans the water very efficiently from substances that do not belong in the water and reduces many pollutants that may be present in the drinking water very safely. The carbon block contains bacteriostatic silver ions that counteract the germination of the filter.
The thick-walled carbon block is made of activated carbon, which is 100% extracted from coconut shell. The activated carbon has an inner surface area equivalent to the size of 50 football fields. This effectively absorbs a large number of toxins and impurities. The large amount of activated carbon in our products makes the water incomparably clean. And due to the environmentally friendly production from coconut, the filtering process is still particularly natural.
The flow rate is 3.5 litres per minute. This is exactly what makes the UNIVERSO from AcquaPhi so special compared to others. Because: Compared to most other microfilter systems, the flow rate is very high. This is made possible by a built-in bypass valve. When washing dishes, you open the tap completely and have the full amount of water. If you want to tap water for drinking, you open the tap only halfway and let the water run slowly. This gives the water more contact time with the activated carbon and achieves an even better filter effect.
But that's not all: the AcquaPhi Universo is capable of filtering 7,000 litres of water before the cartridge needs to be replaced. An LED light indicates when the cartridge needs to be replaced. This replacement is also very easy for you to handle. The water filter is 111.0 mm wide, 305 mm high and has a diameter of 64 mm.
